Where did you both grow up? We both grew up in New York City.
What inspired you to get into music? We grew up listening to different genre of music and were inspired to start writing and singing.
How did you two get together? We both attended the same college in New York.
What is a songwriting session like for you both? Normally, we go by what inspires us. For example, riding the subway in NYC, we are exposed to so many different cultures and diversities where an idea can pop up in our heads that we would write it down and further explore in our studio.
What inspires you to create? Life events and inspiration from others.
What is your music scene like? Continued support from our fans, including other indie artists around the world.
Do you collaborate with other artists? We would definitely love to collaborate with other artists in the future. We have some singles in the works, and have a few artists in mind we would love to work with.
Before Covid 19, did you perform live often? Yes, we usually perform in the New York Tri-State area.
Tell us about your latest project. We are currently working on our 1st studio album
What can we expect from you in the future? More albums and collaboration with other artists.
- Genre-Blending: They write and perform across multiple genres, including Alternative, Pop, Rock, Reggae, and Neo Soul. This flexibility allows them to appeal to a broad audience with diverse musical tastes.
- Original Music & Covers: They successfully produce their own original music and also create covers of popular songs, showcasing their ability to interpret different artists' work while maintaining their unique style.
- Instrumental & Vocal Skills: Both Sweetie (Tricia McPherson Richards) and I'man (Clive Richards) are songwriters and instrumentalists, allowing them to produce and record much of their music independently. I'man is a skilled guitarist, and Sweetie is a powerful vocalist.
- Podcasting: They host a podcast where they discuss various topics, offering fans a deeper, more personal connection beyond their music. This format allows them to explore their personalities and opinions.
- Vlogs and Lifestyle Content: Their social media platforms and YouTube channel feature more than just music videos; they share vlogs, behind-the-scenes footage, personal stories, and lifestyle content, documenting their lives and creative process.
